Anasazi State Park
Visit the museum and partially excavated prehistoric Indian village at Anasazi State Park, located in the town of Boulder, Utah, on Scenic Byway 12.This ancient Ancestral Puebloan village in the heart of Bryce Canyon Country was once home to one of the largest Anasazi communities west of the Colorado River. Archeologists believe the site was occupied from A.D. 1050 to 1200. The village remains largely unexcavated, but many artifacts have been uncovered and are on display in the newly remodeled museum.
A short trail from the visitor center leads to the Coombs Site Ruins and a life-size, six-room replica of part of the pueblo. The replica gives the visitor an idea of what life was like for the Anasazi between 800 and 900 years ago.
Anasazi State Park is in the picturesque town of Boulder on State Route 12. Group and individual picnic areas are available. Small Canyon Kitchen Food Truck is located at the Park and specializes in Navajo tacos. They serve breakfast and lunch. There is no available camping.

$65 Utah Senior Pass
$125 park annual pass. Pass is good for one calendar year for up to seven people with a private vehicle.Â
