When visiting Zion National Park, Springdale, Utah is not the only choice for a lodging headquarters

Zion National Park and Springdale, Utah are synonymous with incredible outdoor recreation. Most Zion visitors stay in Springdale while exploring the park, taking advantage of its eclectic eateries and gift shops as well as its many outfitters that offer everything from canyoneering excursions to mountain biking tours. Zion’s towering monoliths envelop Springdale, Utah. The town borders the national park in three directions. From April to October, the town features a shuttle that transports visitors to the park entrance just south of the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, where they can board another shuttle that provides access to the 6.5-mile Zion Canyon Scenic Drive, the most popular part of the park.

The canyon entreats visitors to breathtaking sandstone monoliths that rise to heights 2,000 to 3,000 feet above the canyon floor, including the Great White Throne and the Court of the Patriarchs. The canyon shuttle stops at points of interest and trailheads on its route, including Zion Lodge, the Grotto Picnic Area, Weeping Rock and the Temple of Sinawava. The park boasts many trails for every level of hiker, from an easy stroll paralleling the Virgin River to a strenuous ascent to Angels Landing, one of the most popular top-down viewpoints of the canyon.

When visiting Zion National Park, Springdale, Utah is not the only place to stay.
